THE JIVE JOINT
The Jive Joint is a comfortable place where anything goes. Shows are never the same, as the performers feed off the energy of the audience and create new stories, songs, and themes on the spot. Audience participation is not only encouraged but is a fundamental part of the experience. You might find yourself pulled onstage to join in a song, dance, or even become a character in one of the acts. With a combination of improv theater and on-the-spot songs, the performers at the Jive Joint have the unique ability to create a world where anything can happen at anytime.

Is Lighting in a Bottle created or is it discoverd? Every year, for the past 2 decades, people have decided to come together and bask in a colorful celebration of music, art, people and ideas...and has caught the attention of some curious creatures! Year after year, this towering family of creatures wander into the festival grounds to see what's going on. Sometimes they come to fall in love, sometimes to play and sometimes to give rides to the brave. On this 20th year celebration, they've come together for a REUNION to honor the creators, explorers and dancers.

The Electric Dandelions are giant steel and acrylic sculptures that represent a dandelion flower during the day and come to life at night as an endless firework display. The 28 ft tall dandelion sculptures have a beautiful and elegant design to them. Their spherical shape is attributed to the geodesic sphere that lies at the heart of the Dandelion. At Night, the geometric dandelion sculptures come to life at night as the LED animations take hold and mesmerize you with their firework display.
Walk through six 12ft light towers that captivate you with an immersive light a sound show inspired. Intense light combined with sounds of nature and experimental electronic music lead you on a 15 minute, hypnotic, visual journey.

ALTAR OF MEMORIES

Last year, we lost two very important members of the Lightning in a Bottle family. The loss of these incredibly impactful individuals has inspired a the creation of the “Altar of Memories” Altar of Memories is an intentional, spiritual and sacred space for us - to remember, honor and commune with our loved ones who have crossed to the other side. Created in Loving Memory of: Tigre Mashaal-Lively, prolific multidisciplinary artist and LIB contributor since 2015 & Marianne Flemming, the mother of the founders of Lightning in a Bottle.

The sun is setting, and the sky is painted with a beautiful array of oranges, pinks, and purples. The Prismatic Portals invite travelers to summon their destination as they move in and through these mind-bending, color-shifting, swirling gateways. As travelers pass through the portals, they are enveloped in a kaleidoscope of hues and shades, as if being transported through a rainbow.

KUKER ART CAR
The KUKER Art Car is a mutant vehicle/mobile stage, decorated in the style of the Kukeri, a traditional Bulgarian masked and costumed ritual dancers. It features intricate and colorful designs, folk symbols and traditional Bulgarian motifs fused with a state-of-the-art artistic expressive tools and multimedia, creating an environment for attracting a wide range of artists: musicians, DJs, choreographers, visual and fine-arts artists with a presentation tailored according to various audiences and venues for a transcending experience through music and dance.
WEAVERS
The weaved domes are created as a shady safe place to regroup and meet with friends. It’s great for naps, dates, being yourself, and eating grapes. Each piece is woven from a sacred geometry design. This installation is created for genuine connection in intersectional circumstances based on common organic environmental interests.

FIRE FLOW ZONE
The Community Fire Flow Circle is designed to provide a safe space for LIB attendees, fire enthusiast, and professional fire dancers to come together and celebrate the element of fire! This is a chance to witness, up close and personal, a wide range of fire dancers and fire props! The circle is open from 10 pm to 2 am nightly. Please do not perform with fire outside of the designated space and time.
