This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.libfestival.org (the “Site”).

BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. EMAIL NEWSLETTER

We operate an email newsletter program, used to inform subscribers about products and services supplied by this website. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but do so at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user.

Email marketing campaigns published by this website or its owners may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity among other information as needed.

This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.

Subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If an automated un-subscription system is unavailable clear instructions on how to un-subscribe will by detailed instead.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY AND MINORS

The Site and our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information. Furthermore, in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we do not explicitly sell or share the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the "right to opt-in") from either the consumer who is between 13 and 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age.

EXTERNAL LINKS

Users are advised to click on all external links at their own risk. This includes social media buttons, advertiser’s links or any other such link that takes away from our site.

DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC)

While we currently do not alter our Site’s data collection practices in response to traditional "Do Not Track" signals from browsers, we strictly honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If you use a browser or extension that broadcasts the GPC signal, our Site will recognize it and automatically process it as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

YOUR RIGHTS

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

5. California "Shine the Light" Law California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of our Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
