Camping & RVs

  • Car Camping Passes allow the ticket holder to camp next to or inside their car. If you’d like to camp with your car, you’ll need to purchase a Car Camping Pass in addition to your Festival Pass. Only one Car Camping Pass is needed per car. Tent camping is included with your VIP or GA Festival Pass.

  • The non-car camping pass holder should be prepared for the potential long walk to the campground where the car camping pass was directed. We recommend arriving together for ease of entry. Please note, parking pass holders will be directed to specific parking lots and will need to walk their gear to their campsite. Wagons or carts with sturdy wheels are recommended! There will be specific campgrounds designated for walk-in tent camping and car camping.

  • No, you’ll only need one Car Camping Pass per vehicle.

  • Yes! Atlaswyld is a private campground for those wanting pre-set glamping accommodations at LIB. Atlaswyld features fully furnished tent and trailer rentals as well as amenities including lounge tents, showers, bathrooms, and a waterfront environment. For more information, visit us at TIXR.com.

  • LIB campgrounds are freeform. There is no pre-plotted or reserved space, unless you purchase a Group Campsite pass. We ask for you to get cozy with your neighbors to eliminate any wasted space.

  • Ins and outs are permitted in the general parking lot,  but not for Car Camping or RV camping passes. Once a car or RV leaves the campgrounds it will not be permitted to drive back into a campground.

    • No Power RV passes allow you to bring your RV into the designated RV campgrounds and will NOT be provided any services such as power, water fills, or pumping.

    • Powered RV passes allow you to bring your RV into the designated RV campgrounds and will have access to one 30 Amp RV power hookup. Water fills and pumping are NOT included.

    • 40x40 RV Campsites allow you to reserve a bigger home base with your friends! ~1600 square foot campsite with power hookup for one RV and space for additional tents.

    • Please note there is no water fill available upon entry to the festival or sewer dump upon exit of the festival for any type of RV pass. We will have trucks available during the event that will provide these services for a fee.

    • Car Camping = Car, SUV, consumer truck or van.

    • RV Camping = Motorhome, any towed vehicle, box truck, commercial vehicle.

  • Possibly, but keep in mind all of the following;

    • RVs with power are not placed next to RVs without power.

    • RV Parking is done “Disneyland-style” which means we place you with guidance into the next available spot. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate self-selection of spots during the process.

    • The best chance for your group to camp together is *to all arrive together and be in line together.

  • Each RV is given a limited amount of space which is alongside the RV and is considered your “personal space” which accommodates opening the awning and room for a tent or two and a little chill space. If friends plan to camp with you, we suggest that you bring their gear in your RV and have them park in general parking, saving on the car camping pass.

  • No problem!! Have your friends pitch in and purchase a 40x40 RV Campsite Pass. This will give you approximately 1600 sq. ft. of space to place one powered RV and as many tents as you can fit in the space.

  • There will be separate designated campgrounds for RVs with power, RVs without power, 40x40 RV campsites, and 40x40 Waterfront RV campsites. Placement will be based on pass purchased and at the discretion of the RV placement team upon arrival. Car camping is generally not allowed in the RV campgrounds.

  • Our Pre-Set Camping program! A streamlined, Easy Peasy camping experience featuring RV and tent packages that are fully set up and ready for you upon arrival.

  • NO! Enclosed propane grills are acceptable in the camping areas but NO open flame or charcoal grills will be allowed.

  • NO! Just like our past venues, unauthorized sound systems are NOT permitted at LIB.

  • Yes! Public showers will be available for purchase in all major camp plazas. Don’t forget your biodegradable soap, towel, and shower sandals.

    • Factory-installed generators in RVs are permitted. Solar and battery powered generators are also ok to use.

    • The festival will have safety staff monitoring the campgrounds to enforce all safety regulations.

Lightning in a bottle is a

Cashless festival

You will be able to use your festival wristband to purchase food, drinks, LIB merch, ice, showers and more at the festival site. It's fast, your data is safe, your payments are secure, and you are free to hit the dance floor with less things in your pockets weighing you down!

HOW IT WORKS

The system will link directly to your wristband like a debit or credit card and will only pull from funds as you spend. You'll create an open credit card registration that's securely associated with your wristband's RFID unique identifier that will link directly like a debit/credit card for "limitless" spending throughout the event on all of your purchases. Once everything is linked up, you'll be able to swipe your wristband to purchase your drinks, food and more. It's fast and seamless, so you’ll spend less time waiting in line for drinks/food, and you can take a dip in the lake without worrying about your wallet!

HOW TO SET IT UP

To save time, before traveling to LIB, don’t forget to activate your wristband and set up your Cashless account.

Here's how:

  1. Find the wristband code (UID) on the back of the wristband plate (5 digit number)

  2. Go to wallet registration and create a secure account quickly via social connect or Email

  3. Select Lightning in a Bottle from the event list

  4. Input your credit card information, enter wristband code UID, and (optionally) create a pin code to finalize your wristband registration

  5. Enjoy the show and the ease of not needing your wallet at all times.

DON'T WANT TO LINK A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD?

You can load cash onto your wristbands onsite! Simply look for the Cashless HQ Booths located (see map for exact locations).

  • It simplifies transactions and prevents the exchange of dirty money and cards. Using an RFID wristband is also a much more secure method of payment because of the extra layers of security at check-out. Your data is safe, your payments are secure, and you are free to hit the dance floor with less things in your pockets weighing you down!

  • Yes!

  • Yes! If you want to link the same bank card to multiple wristbands, you can do so by repeating the activation process for each wristband.

  • There is no credit card data that is stored on-site or locally on the wristband. All data is stored off-site in a PCI-compliant vault.

  • A PCI-compliant vault is a way to store the private data of cardholders in a way that is compliant with the various security measures outlined by the PCI Security Standard Council to ensure that the data is kept safe and private.  Please note that at no point does Do LaB ever have access to your credit or debit card information.

  • When linking a bank card to the wristband, it is a direct link, and pay as you go. There is no specific amount being uploaded and you will only be charged when you make a purchase. If you are loading cash, you can load as much as you want and will be refunded any amount you do not use, post festival at *Select Guest Services Booths on Monday, May 25, 2026.

    • Any unused cash funds are available for refund onsite on Monday, May 25, 2026

    • There will be designated Guest Services Booths where you can receive your unused cash.

    • Hours of Operation for Cashless Refunds:  Monday, May 25 from  9am – 12pm

    • Unused funds will be refunded minus any recent activity to the minute the refund is issued

    • In the event you do not want to wait in line, please be sure to associate your email to your account and scan the QR Code provided at the designated Guest Services Booth of your request for refund and you will be refunded within 30 days post-event (from May 25, 2026).

  • Although tipping is always appreciated, it is of course not mandatory. If you choose to tip, you can do so right on the POS when you are checking out at a bar, food vendor or other service vendor. There are pre-set amounts, but you can press the “custom” button to choose your own amount.

  • No. The PIN code can be any unique set of four digits. It does not have to be the same PIN as your debit/credit card.

  • If you forget your PIN code, you can repeat the activation process and it will override the previous PIN selection.

  • You can change your debit/credit card at any time by logging into your account and updating your debit/credit card details. When onsite, you can visit any of our Guest Services Booths for additional support or any questions you may have.

  • If you plan to buy alcohol at the bars, having your valid government-issued photo ID with you is required.

    • Visit one of our Guest Services Booths and inform them of your lost wristband.

    • Each wristband is securely attached to the bank card using the UID. A wristband is made more secure with a PIN code verification to prevent that wristband from being used if found.

    • If you did not opt in for PIN code verification, your wristband can be located and blocked in the system from further use by searching your name and the last four digits of your bank card.

    • You will then need to go to the Box Office, validate the ownership of the wristband belonging to you, pay the $40 replacement fee, and reactivate your debit/credit card or cash.

  • Wristbands are only active for the duration of the event and cannot be used in any other event or location.

  • Yes, it is much safer to use an RFID wristband for payments because of the extra layers of security at check-out. For example, if you lose your physical card, it is much easier for that card to be found and used at any location. There is also no credit card data that is stored on-site or locally on the wristband. All data is stored off-site in a PCI-compliant vault.

  • Come to one of our Guest Services Booths: near Thunder Stage and near the Woogie Stage. Our Guest Services team can offer assistance.

    • wo Factor Authorization: All attendees have the ability to PIN protect their wristbands and purchases upon account registration. In the event your wristband is lost, PIN creation will prevent the use of your wristband for any transactions.

    • Active Wristband Management: The system includes dashboard functionality to search for and block specific wristbands from making purchases. This can be utilized if there is suspicion of fraud or an instance where an attendee has lost their wristband and had not elected to PIN protect their purchases.

Vaulting: No credit card information is stored locally on the wristband. At no point does the Do LaB ever have access to your credit or debit card information.  The wristband merely acts as a link to a cloud based PayPal vault where that information is securely stored, and that link is only activated through our software. If an attendee was to lose their wristband there would be no way to extract any information from the wristband.

  • If you purchase before the shipping deadline, you will receive your Atlaswyld parking pass in the mail at the same time that you receive your main festival (GA or VIP) credentials. If you purchase after the shipping deadline, you will pick up your parking pass at Will Call. You will receive your Atlaswyld wristband at Reception when you check in.

  • Once you have made your purchase, you cannot cancel your Atlaswyld package. You are, however, welcome to transfer your package to someone else. Just send us an email with the new name and contact details at least 3 days prior to the start of the festival.

  • The number and inventory of tent and RV packages are strictly limited and consideration is given to ensure even distribution of guests throughout the Atlaswyld grounds. Tents and RVs are placed in locations that work with the facilities and landscaping of the grounds, and are laid out in groups and assigned to guests based on accommodation type and package, as well as time of purchase.

  • You are expected to leave your accommodation in the same condition that you found it. Should your accommodation require cleaning, repair or replacement after your stay then the cost of such will be deducted from your deposit. Deposits are collected at the time of your ticket purchase and most deposits are returned within 7 days of you checking out from Atlaswyld.

  • If you need access to the festival ADA facilities, or want to have any communication around anything ADA related, please reach out to ada@thedolab.com

  • LIB prides itself on being a family-friendly event, offering ample programming for parents and kids of all ages to enjoy together. Children 5 or over are considered ‘campers’ in relation to the tent capacities and as such only 2 children are allowed per bed in any accommodation.

Please note that all minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, even inside the Atlaswyld grounds - no exceptions! Neither the staff, nor the festival, are responsible for children who are left unattended.

Please also note that Atlaswyld is located close to festival activity and hearing protection is highly advised for all children.

LIB also offers options for families with their own tents or RVs in a designated Family Camping area. Find out more about Family Camping here.

  • Unfortunately not. LIB has a strict no pet rule that will be enforced. Documented service animals, who are trained to handle loud and active environments and are required for disability, are allowed. No emotional support animals allowed. If you have a service animal, please email ada@thedolab.com to inquire about registering your documented service animal. Please keep in mind, it is illegal to fraudulently claim that your pet is a legitimate service animal.

Prepping for Atlaswyld

  • LIB has a wide selection of food and beverage outlets in close proximity to Atlaswyld. That said, you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages and keep them inside your tent. Please remember that we are located in a park with animals (specifically ground squirrels) and bugs, so all food should ideally be stripped of its packaging (to minimize waste) and sealed in airtight containers to minimize attracting any unwanted visitors.

  • A reasonable amount of alcohol for personal consumption is allowed in all campgrounds, including Atlaswyld, if you are over the age of 21. No drinks can be brought in or out of the Atlaswyld Beach Club or the festival grounds.

  • You are welcome to bring any non-alcoholic beverages that you wish, but there are many FREE fresh water fill stations located all over the festival grounds as well as in the Atlaswyld camping area. Remember to bring empty bottles and canisters for you to fill up!

  • The weather in May in Kern County tends to be hot during the day and chilly at night.

We advise packing warm gear for the nighttime - coats, boots, gloves, scarves, even extra wooly blankets can all be helpful, especially if you are prone to cold.

For daytime, pack items that will help keep you cool such as: hats, umbrellas, fans, spray bottles, and anything else you have found that helps you beat the heat. Waterproof sunscreen is also recommended, as well as insect repellent.

The terrain at LIB is pretty flat and can be prone to occasional gusts of wind so bandanas, sunglasses, or goggles can also be helpful. Sporadic dust devils popping up out of nowhere can and do happen.

As with any festival, there’s always a potential for rain. Please check the weather forecast while packing.

  • We have created 2, readily accessible dressing and hair & make-up lounges as part of the shower facilities in Atlaswyld. Mirrors are fragile things that more often than not end up broken and left behind - as such we ask that you not bring them with you to Atlaswyld.

  • Unfortunately, you are not allowed to add personal shade or accommodations to your tent. This means that we have a strict no pop-up / ez-up / or personal tents rule.

  • All tents are furnished with either an electric or battery operated lamp. You are welcome to bring additional battery-operated or solar lighting for your tent, but candles are strictly forbidden.

  • While LIB is obviously a music festival, we ask you to remember that your particular timing or taste in music may not be what everyone around you wishes to experience. Please be mindful of your fellow campers and resist the urge to play personal sound devices in or near your tents. We ask that you graciously comply if asked to reduce or switch off music.

  • The use of your own portable AC units and/or gas or electric heaters (as well as electric stoves or other electrically significant items) are strictly forbidden in tents. Please feel free to bring battery-operated fans or misters to help keep you cool in your tent.

  • We advise bringing swimsuits/gear, EXTRA TOWELS, lake shoes, and an air pump if you bring a floatation device that needs to be filled with air. Any size floatie is permitted but NO MOTORS of any kind are allowed.

  • Guests staying in Airstreams are issued keys at Reception, but you should plan to bring your own lock if you would like to secure your tent. As we have watched many campers lose their keys over the years, we recommend combination locks and bringing a flashlight. We do not recommend that you bring anything to the festival of extreme value, but anything you do bring, we recommend locking in your car - Atlaswyld parking is close and easy to access if needed.
